We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Paint Controller to join our Commercial and Industrial Division, based at our site in Dalton, Thirsk.

The purpose of this role is to oversee the efficient storage, movement, and distribution of paint products in alignment with our production requirements. This will involve managing stock control, taking deliveries, and maintaining accurate records to ensure seamless operations within our paint facilities.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Understand product storage and safe movement.
  • Paint call-off in line with weeks requirements.
  • Track loads ordered for.
  • Validate deliveries, offload & store product per contract.
  • Stock control of products (rotation etc)
  • Weekly stock take
  • Deliver required amount of paint into each paint facility for night shift/following day shift
  • Record and report if target allowances are met
  • Manage defective product, quarantine area & organise / record returns
  • Book in delivery notes

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a similar environment and possess a comprehensive understanding of various paint products and their specific storage requirements.

Working Hours for this role are: 6:30-16:30 Monday-Thursday & 6:30-12:30 Friday
