Job Purpose

Working within the Product team, this role will support the growth and development of key destinations in the Emirates Holidays portfolio. Manage relationships with hotel, air and ground suppliers including negotiating special offers and allocations. Work with the contracting and loading teams to ensure offers are loaded correctly in line with business requirements. Attend trade shows and undertake product trips to review existing and new products. Become an “expert” on the Emirates Holidays key destinations and product and make recommendations on categorization of hotel properties within the EKH portfolio. Collaborate with the Product Business Analyst in passing on required information and insights to enable weekly competitor analysis, KPI reporting as well as market trends and opportunities for improved performance. Support the contact centre team on the Teams Board by becoming the key point of contact forproduct enquiries. Understand business needs, provide regular competitor/ market analysis including benchmarking of competitor product offerings and market position. Identify gaps in the market and profitable opportunities to secure products which are commercially viable, and which will enhance the Emirates Holidays offering. Responsibility for producing and providing pricing for all marketing activities across the required channels; including pricing for key campaigns, tactical activities, brochures, online, B2B trade and PR for both UK & IRL markets. Accountable for briefing all special offers and pricing requirements, including ad-hoc pricing requests to the relevant stakeholders as per the agreed process. Responsibility for managing the department’s Supplier Events Schedule/Calendar, Exhibitions attendance plans, and organizing FAM trips for Contact Centre and product teams alike.

Qualifications & Experience

Either a travel related degree or Travel industry experience is essential. Experience within a tour operating product role is preferred. Knowledge and experience of working with hotels in the UAE, Indian Ocean and Far East is an asset. Competent applications of Microsoft Office Applications, especially Excel. Team player but can also can independently. A high level of commercial acumen, innovative and creative thinker. High level of numerical, analytical and communication skills Strong organizational skills with good attention to detail. Must have strong interpersonal skills and have the confidence to interact with a multitude and diverse group of overseas suppliers and internal departments. A strong initiative, problem solving & decision-making skills, with the ability to work under pressure and deliver to deadlines.
