Theyguide accounting personnel ensure accurate financial records andcontribute to cost reduction and revenue enhancement initiatives.This role embodies personal accountability initiative andteamwork.

Duties andResponsibilities:

  • Reconcile company bank and credit accounts.
  • Monthly reconciliation of general ledger and balancesheet accounts.
  • Delegate financialresponsibilities and provide guidance to the accountingteam.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce costsand improve revenue.
  • Manage credit andcollection processes ensuring timely funds collection.
  • Maintain uptodate business licenses and cityregistrations.
  • Prepare and submit state SalesTax returns.
  • Assist with COI/W9 update andcompliance activities.
  • Supervise accountingteam employees and provide coverage as needed.
  • Support closing activities including journal and schedulepreparation.
  • Regularly review and reconcile ARand AP ledgers.
  • Assist with check preparationand distribution.
  • Aid in cashflow projectionsand forecasting.
  • Handle external requestsincluding audits insurance and taxes.
  • Processbank exceptions and review virtual employee creditcards.
  • Review employee expense claims andcoordinate with Department VPs.
  • Providesupport to the Controller as required.

Qualifications:

  • Strong management and supervisory skills.
  • Proficient knowledge of GAAP and US accounting standardslaws and regulations.
  • Bachelors degree inFinance or Accounting.
  • Construction accountingexperience preferred.
  • Familiarity with SAGE300 CRE Timberscan Procure Textura and Acumaticaadvantageous.
  • Advanced proficiency inMicrosoft Office accounting software and databases.
  • Excellent math analysis problemsolving and data entryskills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail andcommitment to accuracy.
  • Effective verbal andwritten communication skills.
  • Strong timemanagement skills with a sense of urgency.
  • Initiative punctuality and professionalism.
