Clinical Co-Ordinator

The role of Clinical Coordinator will be to work within a team assisting the Clinical Activity Lead on all matters relating to scheduling the Clinical Activity.
Key Tasks
- Assist with planning the activity rota for the various locations within SpaMedica and amend the activity rota following changes to the operational requirements.
- You will assist the Director of Clinical Performance to ensure that there are suitable slots available for all clinical activity.
- You will open clinics on the booking system (Compucare).
- You will work closely with ophthalmic consultants both internal and external to the business
- Manage a group email inbox, actioning and replying to any requests in a timely manner.
- Out of Hours On Call
- Follow correct procedure for reporting any accidents or incidents.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures.
- File Management
- To ensure patient confidentiality at all times in accordance with the Data Protection Act
Experience
Must Haves:
- Ability to manage own workload.
- Ability to learn new ICT systems
- Good numeracy skills
- Ability to assess and initiate things independently.
- Attention to detail
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft office, outlook, excel and word
