Summary

We're looking for an engaging individual who is known for their exceptional organisational skills, with a love for delivering first class support to join the team as a Business Services Co-ordinator.
Due to the nature of this role, a full UK driving license will be required.
Please note, you'll be required to work some weekends on a rota.

What it's like to work here

Reporting to the property operations manager, you'll be part of the property leadership team working alongside department heads including Welcome, Gardens, Rangers, Collections and Programming.

This is a property based role and you'll be based Dudmaston Estate. Dudmaston is a working estate with visitor facilities based at two locations. Our visitor numbers have grown significantly in recent years and we are one of the busiest sites in the West Midlands.

What you'll be doing

Supporting day to day operations you will be confident using a variety of IT packages and working in a busy team. Your role will deliver a range of support services for example, banking and financial reporting, volunteer support and administration, responsible for compliance reporting, producing signage and other interpretative materials. We have several car parks and you are responsible for the accounting and processing associated with them.  As part of the busy team, you'll need to be prepared to get involved to ensure that our visitors have the best experience.

You'll line manage a small team of facilities assistants and lead on ensuring that our processes and procedures are as good as they can be.  

You'll also work as part of a rota to cover Duty Management responsibility for the Estate being confident and capable of responding to property matters as they arise. You'll be required to drive between sites to respond to different types of emergencies. 



Who we're looking for

To deliver this role successfully, you'll need: 
  • Relevant experience in a Business Support environment; along with facilities or office supervision responsibility
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Great team player
  • Able to multi-task and prioritise own workload with a high attention to detail
  • Happy to work under supervision but able to use own initiative on day to day duties 
  • Advanced IT Skills and adaptability across a wide range of software packages and social media
  • Helpful and approachable
