Bank Reconciliation Assistant

Location: Leeds, Thorpe Park, Hybrid working.

Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

Analyse and categorise bank statement transactions.Reconcile the Admin/own/office/collection accounts for the reconciliations that are assigned to you as specified by the Bank Reconciliation Manager Ensure all unreconciled items are investigated and resolved within SLARoot cause analysis undertaken to understand issues and propose solutions for resolution.Work with relevant stakeholders to resolve outstanding items including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Treasury and Record to Report and other relevant teams.Assisting with internal and external audit requirements. 

What we need from you: 

A working knowledge of accounting double-entry and reconciliation processes and platforms is desirable.An ability to interrogate / analyse large data setsAttention to detail is critical to successIdentify risks ensuring a ‘no surprise’ approach is adopted ensuring issues are highlighted / escalated in a timely mannerPrevious reconciliation experience essentialIntermediate / Advanced excel skillsPrevious Oracle / ERP experience desirable
