As a 1st Line Support Engineer, you will:

  • Provide technical support to external customers, assisting them with hardware and software problems
  • Maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries and adhere to all service management principles
  • Log calls on the call logging system and maintain full documentation
  • Allocate more complex service issues to the Head of Operations
  • Have a shared responsibility with helpdesk colleagues for back-up checks and fixes

To be successful as a 1st Line Support Engineer, you will:

  • Have relevant 1st line/ Helpdesk experience
  • Be experienced in using & troubleshooting Microsoft Office
  • Be confident in using and troubleshooting Outlook within a network environment
  • Have a strong knowledge of Microsoft based operating systems
  • Have excellent communication skills both via tele and face to face
  • Access to a vehicle would be advantageous however, not essential

In return, we are offering an hourly rate of £13.00 + holiday pay. Please note, this is a temporary assignment, expected to last around 4 weeks.
