The role is for one year as fixed term contract for now but is extendable with mutual agreement after one year.

This advert is for a doctor who is already working as a General Practitioner in UK or is newly qualified General Practitioner in UK. We have TIER2 visa sponsorship as well with a generous salary. Hampton Medical Centre is currently looking for a Salaried GP to join our busy practice for six - 8 sessions a week. Working as part of our multidisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to support and care for a diverse patient group.

About The Candidate You must have the following qualifications:

Fully qualified General Practitioner with GMC registration

Making professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems, whether self referred or referred from other health care workers within the Practice.

Be on the NHSE medical performers list

Main duties of the job

In accordance with the Practicetimetable, as agreed, the post holder will make him/herself available toundertake a variety of duties including surgery consultations, telephoneconsultations and queries, visiting patients at home, checking and signingrepeat prescriptions and dealing with queries, paperwork and correspondence ina timely fashion.

Making professional, autonomousdecisions in relation to presenting problems, whether self referred or referredfrom other health care workers within the Practice.

Assessing the health care needs ofpatients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems.

Screening patients for disease riskfactors and early signs of illness.

In consultation with patients and inline with current practice disease management protocols, develop care plans forhealth.

About The Practice

We are a rapidly growing practice in Hampton area of Peterborough, high QOF achieving practice, good CQC rating, a training practice which is not having GP trainees only but also supervises Cambridge and Leicester medical students. We have several ARRS roles Physician Associate, Clinical Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, Assistant General Practitioner etc working in the practice.

We have a strong nursing team with ANPs, Nurse Associate, Practice nurse and two triage nurses

Our management team consists of Business Manager and Assistant Practice Manager
