Job Summary

Hampton Medical Centre is seeking an experienced Practice Nurse to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the smooth operation of our busy GP surgery.

Main Responsibilities
  • Undertake general nursing duties, including cervical smears, immunisations, wound care, and venepuncture.
  • Provide telephone advice and document consultations in patient records.
  • Manage long-term conditions and health promotion initiatives.
  • Participate in the administrative and professional responsibilities of the Practice team.

We are a thriving Practice with a patient list size of 11,000 and a strong team of support staff and clinicians. Our team is friendly and supportive, and we enjoy Practice gatherings and social events.

Requirements
  • Must be a registered Practice Nurse with experience working in a GP surgery.
  • Must be competent in cervical smears and other general nursing duties.
  • Desirable: ability to perform bloods and ECGs, and experience with long-term condition reviews.
