About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Practice Nurse to join our team at Hampton Medical Centre in Peterborough. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the smooth operation of our busy GP surgery.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake general nursing duties, including cervical smears, immunisations, wound care, and venepuncture.
- Provide telephone advice and document consultations in patient records.
- Manage long-term conditions and health promotion initiatives.
- Participate in administrative and professional responsibilities, including accurate note-taking and clinical system updates.
- Collaborate with other clinicians to formulate evidence-based guidelines and policies.
Requirements
- Registered Practice Nurse with experience in a GP surgery.
- Competent in cervical smear procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
