The post will be essential in continuing to develop the nurse led day case services, over three sites Ottery St Mary, Cherrybrook and Yarty Day case. The day case units deliver Systemic Anti-Cancer Treatments (SACT), Supportive Therapies, Ambulatory Medical and Supports Acute Oncology (AO), 6 days a week and AO triage on a Sunday.

The team are looking for an experienced Oncology or Haematology nurse who is competent in oncology and haematology care supported by SACT administration. The individual must have strong and recent experience of clinical leadership across the speciality.

The post will be based on the Eastern site leading the Eastern patient facing team but will be expected to build links with the North as part of the integration agenda

The Oncology and Haematology Services have strong links with two on site Charities FORCE and ELF who provide and support holistic care for our patients, while also providing clinical supervision and training opportunities for staff members.

Working Pattern: hours per week.Monday to Friday but weekend working is required
