Primary SEN Teaching Assistant – Swinton (M27)

Teaching Personnel are hiring a Teaching Assistant to work in a SEN primary school in Swinton.

This role involves providing one-to-one support for a KS1 Year 2 pupil with ASC. The child requires additional support staying on task and following an EHCP to ensure they can fulfil their potential. This pupil can occasionally become overstimulated, and this can lead to behavioural outbursts. Therefore, senior leadership of this school require a TA to have an empathetic, calm and confident approach when managing disruptive behaviour. The one-to-one will also be expected to support emotional and social development, regularly communicating any pastoral or day-to-day issues with the class teacher and the child’s parents.

  • £84+ per day through PAYE (no umbrella company or agency fees) paid weekly,
  • SEN primary School in Salford (M27), easily reachable via public transport or car (on-site parking),
  • Full-time role Monday-Friday, paid on a timesheet basis through Teaching Personnel,
  • September start following registration with Teaching Personnel, the school will consider a given notice period,
  • Permanent role.
