The Role

An opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Secretary (Relief) within University Hospital Hairmyres. The Clinical Secretary will provide comprehensive administrative support to a team of clinicians, enabling clinicians to operate effectively and efficiently, working in accordance with standard operating procedures.

What we'll need you to bring

SVQ level 2 qualification (or equivalent experience) plus at least 2 years experience in healthcare administration or at least 3 years experience in a secretarial role Understanding of medical terminology Evidence of effective team working and dealing with change Evidence of strong communication skills with patients, clinicians and colleagues. Excellent organisational skills Evidence of strong competence with relevant IT systems Audio typing skills

Location and Working Pattern

This role will be based in Medical Services within University Hospital Hairmyres

The working pattern for this role Monday to Friday 8am/8.30am to 4pm/4.30pm with an early finish on one day (negotiable)
