About the Role

We are looking for an experienced building acoustics technical specialist to support our current order book of fantastic new build projects in the UK and overseas, as well as to help our ambitions towards our LEAP 28 strategy. You will lead and manage our building acoustics portfolio, with support from within the team, and also help our business development teams to grow and develop new opportunities. Your focus will be on project and client management, whilst providing guidance and development opportunities to the wider team.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with proven track-record of delivering acoustic design advice through all RIBA stages. Hold a Degree or comparable qualification or experience in Acoustics. Have experience in the field of Acoustics. Hold membership of the Institute of Acoustics. A good understanding of noise modelling software packages. A general understanding and appreciation of different types of noise and vibration issues, including environmental planning and development, occupational exposure in the workplace and noise control engineering  A thorough understanding of the technicalities of air quality dispersion modelling would be expected (including the use of ADMS, ADMS-Roads and AERMOD). Notable experience in assessment of carbon emissions or net zero action planning would be highly desirable. Sound commercial awareness, with experience of providing scope and fee quotations for clients. People management experience would also be useful. Competent user of Microsoft Office applications. Hold a current UK driving license
