Theatre Practitioner - Recovery 

Cromwell Hospital - London, SW5 0TU 

Permanent 

£34,130 to £43,730 per annum (dependant on experience) 

Shift pattern – Long Days 07:30 to 21:00 / Early 07:30 to 15:30 / Late 13:00 to 21:00 

Full time 37.5 hours p/w

Our main adult theatre is a busy and dynamic environment, setting the benchmark for clinical excellence. We have 6 operating suites catering for Cardiac, Orthopaedics, ENT and Ophthalmic, Plastics, General/Vascular, Urology and Gynaecology. We work with surgeons who are the best in their specialities carrying out simple to the more complex surgeries.

You’ll help us make health happen by:

The Recovery Theatre Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing skilled clinical and technical assistance as a member of the operating theatre team and to participate in the assessment of patient care needs and implement and maintain agreed standards of care.

What you’ll do

Prepare patients for clinical/ operative procedures in Recovery Provide assistance in clinical/ operative procedures in Recovery. Provide immediate post-operative care. You will be required to provide recovery assistance to the consultants during all surgical procedures.

What you’ll bring: 

NMC Registered Nurse (Adult and/or Children). Alternatively, HCPC registered with a Diploma or Degree in Health Care Studies / ODP Level 3 NVQ / ODA 752. Previous UK recovery experience
