We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Goods-In Administrator to join our team. As a Goods-In Administrator, you will play a crucial role in our warehouse operations, ensuring the smooth and efficient receipt and inspection of incoming goods.

The position of Goods-In Administrator involves:

Manage and coordinate the arrival and departure of lorries, ensuring efficient traffic flow and timely unloading of goods.Regularly communicate with customers via email to provide updates on deliveries, address inquiries, and resolve issues related to received goods.Handle telephone communication for reporting product short lives, shortages, and other inventory-related concerns to both customers and internal teams.Accurately input key performance indicator (KPI) data into the system, tracking and reporting on performance metrics for the department.Place orders for necessary supplies, receive incoming shipments, and ensure all goods are properly documented and receipted in the inventory system.Organise and manage paperwork related to incoming shipments, ensuring all documents are filed correctly and accessible for reference.Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and office organisation to support the smooth operation of the goods-in department.

Essential Skills required for Goods-In Administrator:

Proven experience as a Goods-In Administrator or in a similar role within a warehouse environment.Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.Excellent organisational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.Team player with good communication skills to collaborate with colleagues across various departments.
