Care Concern Group is delighted to bring a senior opportunity to market.

Due to acquisitions and commissioning projects across the Scotland, we are looking to appoint an Estate Manager who will support and advise the wider group in property maintenance, compliance and development.

ESTATES MANAGER CONTRACT
(Travel will be required throughout the Scotland)

          Salary of £50,000 per annum.

          Contracted to 37.5-hours per week.

          Pension.

          5.6 weeks annual leave.

          £400 per month for car allowance.

          Professional fees paid.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

          MRICS Building Surveyor, MCIOB or proven ability and experience.

          Experienced in JCT contract documentation and administration.

          Good understanding of risk management regarding fire, legionella and asbestos.

          Familiar with commercial M&E system installations.

          Experience within the care home environment.

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

          Reporting to the Group Estates Manager, you will be home based but responsible for the company estate across the Scotland, with overnight stay as required.

          Project manage refurbishment projects up to £2M in value - This includes provision of specifications, employer's requirements, consultant appointments, contract administration, valuations and payments.

          Conduct pre-acquisition surveys and dilapidation surveys.

          Conduct annual condition surveys across the existing estate.

          Respond to major building defects including management of reactive maintenance and property related health and safety issues.

          Prepare and manage 5 year planned preventative maintenance budgets for high value assets.

          Tender, instruct and manage service contracts across the estate.

          Review and monitor all home compliance certification.
