About the Role

Xpress Recruitment is seeking an experienced and skilled Chef to join our client's private estate in Scotland. As a key member of the estate's hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional culinary experiences for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and execute all culinary projects, including breakfast, private dinners, and catering for events
  • Work with the estate's retained General Manager to ensure seamless delivery of culinary services
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menus to showcase the estate's produce
  • Collaborate with the estate's gardeners to create soups, sauces, marmalades, and preserves
  • Assist with the on-site cook school and provide culinary training to staff
Requirements
  • Professional culinary training and certification
  • Experience working in high-end restaurants or catering environments
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Desirable: own transport and ability to work flexible hours
