An exciting and highly remunerated permanent salaried GP role has arisen with the opportunity to be part of the Primary Care family within the established DHC GP Federation. This role is flexible in terms of prior experience and would suit a portfolio career.
This role is part time, 4-6 sessions on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

Main duties of the job
The role is primarilybased at Pond Tail Surgery in Godstone, working with a small, friendly, andprofessional practice team that provides high quality services to 7000patients. You will be supported by experienced clinical lead GPs and will bepart of a wider team of GPs, nurses and nurse practitioners and a growing teamof allied healthcare professionals.
We believe that generalpractice is a fun and supportive NHS environment and we achieve this throughhighly developed systems and processes. We are keen to offer support andencourage personal development of all our staff and offer an in-housestructured education program.
You will receivementorship from experienced clinical leads and DHC directors to personaliseyour growth and learning. There willalso be the unique opportunity to further develop a specialist clinicalinterest with consultant supervision through our wider portfolio of outpatientand community services.

DHC GP Federation is a patient focused and pro-active community-based provider with strong links to all the GPs working within our Federation of 4 Primary Care Networks including 11 GP Practices across Surrey, from Epsom to South Tandridge.
We were awarded the contract to run Godstone GP Practice from 1st January 2022 and are looking to complement our team of clinicians and GPs working within the Practice. DHC has a strong commitment to delivering high quality community-oriented services, and to working in partnership with service users, carers, health and social care agencies and voluntary agencies.

Job responsibilities
The post-holdersduties will include undertaking all normal GP duties and is offered theopportunity to lead on an area of interest within the practice. This will bepart of the wide range of health needs in a primary care setting that willensure the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients.
The post-holderwill undertake a fixed number of clinical sessions for the Practice inaccordance with the needs of the practice population and the contractualobligations of the practice. ThePractice has a focus on minimising administrative burden and automateprocesses, allowing GPs to concentrate on delivering good clinical care.
Youwill receive mentorship from experienced clinical leads and the federationdirectors and have the opportunity to pursue specialist interests as part ofour wider portfolio of services.

Qualifications
Essential
A qualified general medical practitioner whose name is included on the General Practitioner Register (Article 10 of the General and Specialist Medical Practice Article 2003) Not subject to suspension under section 41A of the Medical Act 1983 Evidence of CPD activities

Further postgraduate educational activities in relevant fields Evidence of keeping previous mandatory training up to date.
Experience

Recent proven previous experience of working within general practice in the UK or equivalent healthcare setting
