We are Teaching Personnel and are excited to be recruiting an English Teacher for a ‘Good’ Ofsted rated school based within Bournemouth. This is a great opportunity to work within an oversubscribed 11-18 Secondary school. As an English Teacher you will play a key role in students’ education and personal development being a core subject. You will need to be dedicated to creating a high-quality learning environment for students to develop and grow within the subject.

Key Responsibilities would include:

• Deliver engaging English lessons

• Support and inspire students of all abilities

• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience.

• Monitor and assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.

 

Requirements for this role:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.

• Strong subject knowledge and previous experience working within a UK secondary school.

• Strong classroom management skills.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

The school would be looking for the successful candidate to join them for the start of the academic year but would be open to a November start date as an alternative. The hours for the school consist of an 8.15am start and a finish of 3pm. This role would include planning and marking, and all roles are paid to scale.
