About the Role

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate English Teacher to join our team in Christchurch. As an English Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lesson Planning and Delivery: Develop and deliver engaging English lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities, ensuring students are well-prepared for assessments and future academic challenges.
  2. Differentiated Instruction: Implement teaching strategies that cater to different learning styles and abilities, promoting inclusivity and academic growth.
  3. Assessment and Feedback: Regularly assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth and collaborating with colleagues to refine teaching practices.

Requirements
  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field, teaching certification in English, and PGCE/QTS/QTLS.
  • Experience: Proven experience teaching English at the secondary level is preferred.
  • Skills: Ability to create engaging lesson plans, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong organisational and time-management skills, effective classroom management, problem-solving and analytical skills, and a passion for teaching and inspiring students.
