Responsible for the replacement and maintenance of street lighting equipment and street furniture. To provide a managed, high quality, efficient and reliable maintenance service for the East Sussex County Council and private clients.
What you'll be doing
As a Street Lighting Supervisor , you will have the following accountabilities:
Supervise direct staff and Sub contractors Carry site and report site observations Management of on site point of work risk assessments Ensure full compliance with Highway Electrical Association competency scheme, T&Cs and Code of Conduct At all times proactively engage with and adhere to company procedures with regards to health, safety and quality and where applicable to ensure all team members do likewise Ensure effective and efficient scheme delivery Ensure that all plant, equipment, and electrical systems are regularly inspected, and that all defects are reported to the person responsible for the workplace and a record is maintained.
Who we're looking for
You will have the following:
Experience of a similar role associated to operator lorry loaders Holder of SMSTS or other Health and Safety related qualification HEA card supervisor card Traffic Management M7 qualification G39 + 214 Safe Isolation The ability to communicate with all levels, from senior management to operational staff Ability to identify problems and resolve promptly and efficiently.
