Join our team at The View Hotel, Eastbourne as our Meetings & Events Supervisor In this role, you'll be at the forefront of revenue generation and guest satisfaction. Lead our Meetings & Events team, craft compelling sales strategies, and ensure seamless event execution. Based in  The View Hotel, Eastbourne  you will be part of a team of passionate people who know that being the best doesn’t always mean working around the clock.

This role is being offered on a 39 hour per week annualised hours contract working, 5 days out of 7. Annualised hours contracts offer several benefits to employees:

What do we need from you?

To be successful in this role, you will be passionate about providing an exceptional guest experience and living through our brand standards.

Experience and Skills:

  • Proven track record in sales, particularly in Meetings & Events.
  • Strong leadership abilities to guide and motivate a team towards success.
  • Excellent communication skills for building relationships with clients and collaborating with other departments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel, along with the ability to leverage technology for efficient sales tracking and reporting.
  • Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and evenings, to meet the demands of a 24/7 business operation.
  • Experience with Opera preferred.
