Dueto an increase in our bed capacity, we are seeking ambitious and confident nursesto work on our wards at Hinckley and Bosworth Community Hospital. The wards arenurse led which will give you high levels of autonomy and satisfaction indelivering excellent care, supporting rehabilitation and increasing patient independence.Our cohort of patients is increasingly complex due to the need to facilitateearly discharge from hospital and prevent admission to the secondary caresector.

Ourwards provide sub-acute care, complex rehabilitation and palliative care. Successfulapplicants would have the opportunity to work collaboratively with the MDT tohelp patients in their journey to return home and will also be able to develop theirskills in nursing care and discharge planning.

Main duties of the job

Assessing,planning, implementing and evaluating patient care in a nurse led environment.

Assisting withand contributing to the management and organisation of the ward.

Delivery ofhigh-quality care.

Participatingin education, development and supervision of other staff members and students.

Workingcollaboratively and co-operatively with others to meet the needs of clients/ service users and their families.

Qualifications

Essential

Level 1 Registered Nurse (Adult). Student Nurse in the final year of an adult nursing programme.

Standard Requirements

Essential

Experience

Essential

Demonstrates effective communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrates adaptability and flexibility dependent upon work priorities.
