Job summary

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Community HubCoordinator to support our teams and service users, within Community HealthServices for Nursing and Therapy based at Hinckley & Bosworth Community Hospital in the Community Nursing office (free parking is available andthis base is close to public transport).

Our service operates to , Monday to Sunday,therefore this post requires the candidate to be fully flexible and be able tocover all shifts - there is flexibility in the length of shifts - from to hours per day. The service also operates on weekends and bank holidays - enhancements are paid when working on these days.

Main duties of the job

You will need to demonstrate good communication skills andbe able to work independently in a variety of community settings. You will needa flexible approach and the ability to work as part of a team and to use yourown initiative.

In addition to general administrative duties, the role willinclude using the electronic patient record system (SystmOne), completingelectronic referrals, tasks and assisting where appropriate with datacollection for audit purposes, data entry, together with supporting CoreCommunity Nursing and Therapy staff, Team Leads and clinicians, ordering andmonitoring of equipment and stores. This list is not exhaustive.

You will need to be a good team player, with excellentorganisational and communication skills.

Qualifications

Essential

Good overall education including minimum GCSE grade C or above in English and maths, or equivalent qualification. NVQ level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent.

Desirable

ECDL or equivalent experience

Knowledge and skills

Essential

Experience in an administrative/clerical role. IT literate. Experience of working with electronic records, SystmOne, databases, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email and the internet. Ability to multitask and work under pressure. Ability to establish and maintain verbal communication. Ability to work on own initiative.

Experience

Essential

Experience of working in the NHS or similarly complex organisation. Experience of working in an environment that delivers customer service. Significant experience in dealing with changing administration demands.
