syncreon a DP World company are rapidly growing and due to this exciting growth we are currently recruiting for a **Security Coordinator** to oversee security operations across our sites within the Midlands. This role will involve travel across our Midlands locations including Hinckley, Lutterworth, Burton upon Trent and Bicester and you can be based around any of those locations. As a Security Coordinator you will be responsible for all operational security related matters in our warehouses and on a daily base you will work closely with our local Security Supervisors ensuring optimal site security regarding the whole logistic operation.

The Security Coordinator provides daily management of our external suppliers (man-guarding services and electronic security; installations) and external security staff in a dotted line. You will support the Regional Security Manager.

**How you will contribute**:

- Customization and development of internal security instruction, including training;
- Assistance during internal and external audits (TAPA, GSA, Customs, RA etc.);
- Take part in Project Launches or changes from the security perspective;
- Responsible for correct follow up on corrective and preventive maintenance according to SLA’s and urgent repairs of system malfunctions;
- Manage the access control system (new cards, mis-use, system review);
- Make back-up planning;
- Be proactive in addressing opportunities for improvement, safety, efficiency, etc.;
- Responsible for operational contract management of the suppliers of Security goods and or services (QBR, planning, annual purchase orders, complaints etc.)
- Responsible for reviewing the suppliers reporting, performance, rosters, incidents etc.

**Your key qualifications**:

- Strong communication skills (able to train and motivate staff, manage external suppliers, negotiate contracts, act as escalation point for security related issues, cooperate with other team members);
- Experience with TAPA security requirements and audits;
- Knowledge of electronic security management systems; intrusion detection, CCTV, access control
- Excellent communication skills (spoken and written) in English and Dutch (preferred);
- Proactive (identify issues and act upon);
- Stress-resilient (stay calm during escalations).
