Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant - Manchester

Exciting opportunity available for a Psychology postgraduate.

  • Flexible working days to suit your needs and preferences.
  • Excellent opportunity to develop skills in a school environment.

If you’ve just finished your psychology degree and are looking at putting your knowledge into a working role, then Teaching Personnel may have the correct position for you.

The position in hand will be working with a range of children from years 7-11, aiding the current staff with the delivery of day to day lessons, in a range of subjects. Working in a school setting, there will be some instances where the successful candidate will be required to work with SEN students to aid their learning and progression, through their schoolwork. Experience in this area is not required, but any experience in a similar setting would be ideal for the school. All necessary training and support will be provided by the school.

As stated, the role will be for a flexible position, where the candidate can choose and alter suitable days, to fit around their needs. This can be a great opportunity for someone who has just finished university and looking to ease themselves in a teaching environment, where the days you work can fit your needs.

Along with flexible working days and an excellent opportunity for personnel development, this position can also offer:

  • £400 - £500 weekly wage (dependant on experience).

  • Easy access to schools in South of Manchester through a range of public transport links close by, with onsite parking available.

Before beginning work in one of the set schools, you will be required to obtain a full child workforce DBS certificate, if you do not currently own one. This can be acquired through Teaching Personnel.
