The role of the Senior Care Assistant has many aspects; however, the principle purpose is to perform duties and tasks that facilitate our customers to live at home independently in a safe, secure and comfortable way.
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will be working within an Housing with Care Scheme, Housing with Care Schemes are purpose-built housing for elderly people containing individual homes built to high specifications set in beautiful surroundings with access to onsite communal facilities which are clients are encouraged to use to reduce social isolation and loneliness all in one location, we currently have a full time position available at our Birch Court scheme based in Glen Parva.
You will be responsible for gaining an awareness of the needs of the customer to enable us to assist them to maintain their physical wellbeing and personal independence. A key element of the role is the ability to communicate effectively with our customers, their family and friends and other health and social care professionals. Specific tasks will be identified for each customer and will vary according to individual need and choice.
