Job summary

Please note: This is a hybrid role with 1 day per week in our Head office in Leamington Spa. During the induction/training period more days in the office will be required.

Are you an experienced HR professional with a strong background in leading HR teams and managing HR systems?

As an HR Service Manager at BPAS you will lead a team of HR administrators, ensuring the delivery of day-to-day transactional support for the organisation's business objectives.

The role:

This role requires an in-depth understanding of HR best practices to enable you to work closely with your team and managers, providing guidance and advice on HR processes and systems, as well as ensuring compliance with BPAS HR policies.

You'll be comfortable hitting the ground running & using your own initiative to manage and improve HR systems and processes. As the HR Service Manager, you will oversee HR services, including data management, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring a high-quality, customer-centric approach.

About You:

We are seeking a confident and articulate HR professional with proven experience in leading HR teams and managing HR systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in generalist HR advisory roles or HR business partnering, with extensive hands-on experience.

We are also looking for:

Strong understanding of UK Employment Law and practical knowledge of HR best practices. Experience in process mapping and improvements. Good communication & interpersonal skills

Main duties of the job

Leading the provisionand continual review of a high quality, customer centric service through a teamof HR administrators Overseeing the teammailbox to ensure a helpdesk style approach to managing priorities andestablishing workload. Owning andoverseeing the production and presentation of Key KPI and monthly HR data andanalysing for recommendations and implementing improvements. Owning the Core HRand time & attendance systems and processes to ensure information flowsappropriately to meet payroll deadlines and to ensure maximum efficiency. Developing andmaintaining a culture of continuous improvement in HR processes, drivingefficiency and employee experience, including exploring system functionality tosupport and drive improvements.

Salary: £40,000 per annum.

Shift Pattern: 36 Hours per week | Monday to Thursday 9am-5pm and Friday

Qualifications

Essential

English and Maths qualification either GCSE A to C or Functional Skills Level 2 or GCSE 4* or NVQ level 2 Member of CIPD or equivalent qualification or time served relevant experience as a Generalist HR Advisor/Business Partner.

Some further education ( A-Levels, BTEC, GNVQ, Degree)
