TheRole

To analyse Castores companyprocesses and make suggestions on how to improve them specificallywithin the Logistics function. Internally working with theOperations and Supply Chain teams in recognising opportunitiesmaking and implementing changes and sustaining improvements.Externally working with 3PL partners globally to; standardiseprocesses drive compliance remove waste reduce cost and improvecustomer satisfaction.

The ContinuousImprovement Manager will need to have a passion for not beingsatisfied with the status quo. Working continuously to improveprocesses and drive Castores ethos Better Never Stops.

Responsibilities

Conductdetailed analysis of the current situation that accuratelydescribes the issues

Evaluating and prioritisingpotential improvements based on gains and requiredeffort

Accurately analysing options includingimpact and feasibility

Establishing criteria fora projects success including constraints andlimitations

Identify available resources (forexample; people materials andfinances)

Identifying intervention priorities andindicators

Planning facilitating and executingcontinuous improvement events using Lean Six Sigmatools

Establish a clear and wellarticulatedimplementation plan

Appropriately implementingprinciples of governance

Clearly definingmethodology

Complete process analysis ofcurrent Logistics activities and identify weaknesses and potentialimprovements in Castores operations

The resultsof the process analysis you model Castores business operations insuch a way that they produce the highest possibleoutcome

Ways in which to streamline and improveworking processes have been recommended

Optimiseworkflows until each process has reached its optimal state and thebest possible performance

Implement the improvedworkflow tracking performance and/or costreduction

Operate changemanagement

Improve processesiteratively

Projects (systems handling solutions) have been supported in analysis solution development andimplementation
