Main duties of the job

Working on a hybrid basis the post holder will report to the ICB Head of Financial Planning, and will lead on the production of the ICB's short and medium-term financial plans including efficiency programmes, financial modelling, and monitoring, liaising with the System finance team to incorporate into an overall system plan.

The ICB is responsible for the planning, design, development, and commissioning (buying) of local health services. They put local GPs and healthcare professionals at the forefront of commissioning services for the local people.

Job responsibilities

In order to undertake this role, the ideal candidate will be CCAB/CIMA qualified, ambitious and a committed individual who is able to demonstrate proven post qualification experience of working at a senior level. Strong management and communication skills will be key to this role to ensure that they are able to provide efficient support to Head of Financial Planning as well as the wider finance directorate.

Significant experience of working at a senior level within a complex organisation. Significant relevant financial management experience within a complex organisation. Experience of liaising with senior staff / directors within and outside of own organisation. Financial planning experience
