Project: Mace Consult Central Government team to lead key projects across our Houses of Parliament account. We have an exciting pipeline of work and the successful candidate will be responsible for delivery at all project stages, ensuring relevant stakeholders and professional team members are engaged throughout. The Central Government sector is responsible for developing our business across Parliament’s vast estate, which includes the Palace of Westminster, Parliamentary Northern Estate and ancillary built assets. Our multidisciplinary service offer across the built environment is comprehensive. Collaborating with working practices across our business gives us the capability and capacity for wide-ranging opportunities, from transformative business change to delivery of estate rationalisation programmes.

Risk manager's responsibilities will include:

Accountable for supporting the risk management performance Effective implementation of risk framework(s)/strategy(s) Day-to-day management on assigned commission(s) on all risk management matters. Building strong professional relationships with Client/Client representative(s). Provides advice and support to Project team in the administration of the risk process, particularly with respect to the risks to achievement of key objectives and the escalation of risk(s). Facilitates and delivery of risk workshops. Works with Project Manager to recognise opportunities and mitigations to minimise risk exposure. Accountable for ensuring risk mitigation action plans are developed, owners appointed and that project plans are updated and monitored. Supports the delivery of Project Quantitative Risk Analysis (cost and time). Comments on the adequacy of contingency as part of the regular reporting cycle. Delivers monthly risk reports, externally to Client and internally to Project team. Ensures all activities/operations are carried out in line with Mace Control Centre, Client requirements and prevailing legislation. Supports more junior risk managers and other Project staff as required. Actively engages in the integration of risk with PMO and Planning disciplines.
