We are looking to recruit a highlymotivated Nurse Manager of our highly specialised community Dermatologyservice.
The Clinical Team Manager will takeresponsibility for the day to day functioning of a very busy dermatology,service, ensuring that clinical work is being delivered to a high standard.They will be responsible for ensuring that the teams pathways are managed,that staff are adequately trained, supervised and work to the BritishAssociation of Dermatology standards. They will work with the senior team onservice redesign and facilitate change to ensure that services develop asneeded and continue to meet the needs and safety of patients, always.
Main duties of the job
The clinicalteam manager will line manage the dermatology team and lead the clinical teamto ensure continual quality improvement and clinical governance. They willprovide a high level of clinical knowledge and experience to help informclinical decisions for the patients. They will supervise and supportivelymanage staff, enable recruitment of staff, sickness absence, be involved inservice development projects, participate in clinical governance and MDTmeetings, manage complaints and work closely with other partners. They willwork closely with both internal and external stakeholders to promote a cultureof compassionate, high-quality care and successful outcomes for patients.

Job responsibilities
To beaccountable for the overall management and development of the team / service,deployment and supervision of staff and ensuring the coordination of servicesprovided, optimising the cost-effective use of all resources.
Linemanagement of the team, with overall accountability and responsibility for thedelivery of all aspects of patient / client care through the provision ofeffective clinical and managerial leadership.
To lead,motivate and support the team approach to delivering new and innovative modelsof care for patients / clients.
To lead acontinuously improving service, by ensuring systems are in place to supportclinical governance, quality monitoring and ongoing research and audit ofpractice.
Ensuresystems and processes are in place to maintain patient safety.
Facilitatethe development of clinical expertise and advanced clinical practice within theteam.
To providedirect clinical care and work autonomously, assessing individual patient /client needs, initiating investigations, determining a plan of care andinitiating appropriate holistic, research-based health information and care.
To act asa resource for all members of the Multi-Disciplinary Team, providing expertadvice concerning aspects of patient / client management.
To beresponsible for ensuring that agreed professional standards are reflected inpractice and to have overall responsibility for monitoring the standard ofcare.
To improvethe patient / client journey by increasing access to assessment and appropriatecare and treatment.
Workcollaboratively with Multi-Disciplinary Teams to ensure practice is efficient,effective, evidence based and safe.
