EKC Group are seeking a Complex Care Learning Support Practitioner to join our team at Canterbury College. As a Complex Care Learning Support Practitioner you will support students, who require assistance with complex health care needs and have a learning support need, to undertake a range of programmes and/or qualifications. The majority of the students you will be working with will accessing our sensory curriculum of learning.

About You

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic SEN Learning Support Practitioner to support our FE students with Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD).

You will be passionate about supporting students with a complex and high level of need. Ideally, if you have experience with working alongside individuals who have Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties, including Global Development Delay, Epilepsy, Cerebral Palsy, Rare Diseases or Sensory Impairments we would like to hear from you.

You will have strong communication skills, an understanding of behaviour management, have a passion to inspire students to be active in learning, and work well under pressure.

A background of either health & social care or special education needs is desirable
