Job Description

As a PMO analyst within Brambles, you’ll provide project support to a wide range of departments in a varied selection of projects.

With hybrid working available, you’ll need to be in commutable distance of Manchester. This role will help support the successful delivery of Northern European strategic and tactical initiatives by coordinating activity, training, governance and reporting within the UK & Ireland business.

Key Accountabilities

Facilitate, co-ordinate and support all Northern European initiatives in scopeProvide standardisation, documentation, tools, governance and support to Project Leads, and share best practice and learnings within the project management communityProvide project management training, development, advice and support to the Northern European teamAct as Scrum Master working within the Agile framework, and PMO support in other hybrid and waterfall initiativesFollow up with project leads to ensure deadlines and milestones are met and offer support and coaching where appropriate, in order to successfully complete initiativesImplement regular project health checks and quality assurance measuresCo-ordinate the Northern Europe Risk Register and make recommendations for initiatives for the future project pipeline, within the strategic planning cycleLead and support PMO continuous improvement initiatives

What you’ll need:

You’ll need some project management experience and understanding of project processA project management qualification would be fantasticSome exposure to process improvement techniques (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma)You’ll need strong communication skills to deal with a variety of senior stakeholdersProficiency in Microsoft software packages, particularly MS Excel and Power Point.The key thing we’re looking for is a drive and willingness to learn
