The role
This is a new key role and youll primarily be ensuring the appropriate governance of MAGs CCTV / Video Surveillance systems. Youll implement decisions made by the Video Surveillance Governance Board and ensure that all CCTV policies, standards and processes are maintained, fit for purpose and are consistent with guidance issued by the CAA and Information Commissioners Office. Primary stakeholders you will be working with include, the Data Protection Manager, Security and Compliance functions and CCTV providers. Youll work with the Data Protection Manger to ensure that Data Sharing Agreements (DSA) are in place, are recorded on the DSA register and are reviewed regularly. Youll also work with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure that monthly reports on working cameras, issues and risks are produced and disseminated. Youll attend all CCTV provider vendor manager meetings, and support on all projects where surveillance compliance is required. Youll also lead the allocation of CCTV training to new users of CCTV platforms and refresher training on an annual basis. Youll be responsible for managing role-based-access-control (RBAC) CCTV systems, including regular reviews of all three RBAC models are undertaken and the RBAC model remains accurate. Youll also perform audits of CCTV systems to ensure footage is not being shared with unauthorised people and footage is being deleted in line with MAG retention periods. 

What will make you successful in the role?
Youll have an understanding of GDPR / NIS and other related legislation and regulation, and a demonstrable track record of project managing, prioritising, monitoring delivery and audit in a complex environment. Youll have proven investigation and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and the ability to deal sensitively and confidentially with all requests, including those from statutory agencies, alongside an awareness of governance and compliance issues. Youll have excellent communication skills, as well as strong relationship building skills, with experience of challenging senior stakeholders if required. An understanding of CCTV, other surveillance methods including body-worn cameras would be desirable.
