Education/Qualifications
Essential criteria
BTEC/NVQ level 3 in Pharmaceutical sciences Registered with the GPHC Accredited medicines management/optimisation course Accredited Checking Technician Evidence of CPD
Desirable criteria
Completion of recognised management course Practice supervisor/Education supervisor/NVQ Assessor BTEC level 4
Knowledge and experience
Essential criteria
Hospital pharmacy experience Knowledge of medicines management initiatives Experience of line management/leading teams Experience of audits
Desirable criteria
Knowledge of CMM/Cerner/Omnicell Change management experience Experience of working in satellite pharmacies
