About Porchlight
Porchlight is a leading Kent based charity providing services across the South East of England.  We provide support to vulnerable people experiencing social problems including housing risk, social exclusion, poverty, and health inequalities. We work with a wide range of people including those living with mental health issues, and others who are socially excluded and struggling to cope, needing our support to keep them on track. Our support aims to encourage and empower people to live more independently as well as prevent to crisis and escalation, and issues in the future.

The role

We are looking for someone to support the facilities manager with organisational arrangements for essential services within our buildings. You will positively contribute to stakeholder engagement and create strong working partnerships with colleagues and external bodies, ensuring that health and safety guidance is being adhered to. You will be part of a small but supportive team, ensuring the safety and maintenance for our Porchlight staff and the people who we support who work and live in Porchlight buildings. You will have strong communication skills to allow you to work closely with other Porchlight staff and also external contractors and organisations to fulfil the duties of this role.

This role requires

  • Administrative experience within housing, estates or facilities
  • Experience of contract administration and project management
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office alongside strong organisational skills
