About The Role
GSF Car Parts is seeking a Facilities Assistant to support the maintenance and upkeep of our facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with a variety of tasks, including cleaning, repairs, and general maintenance to ensure a safe and comfortable working environment for our employees.Key Responsibilities:- Perform daily cleaning tasks, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and emptying trash bins- Assist with minor repairs and maintenance tasks, such as fixing leaks, replacing light bulbs, and painting- Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment- Assist with setting up and breaking down of equipment for events and meetings- Coordinate with external vendors for larger maintenance projects- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies- Assist with snow removal and other weather-related maintenance tasks as needed- Other duties as assigned by the Facilities Manager
About You
Qualifications:- Previous experience in facilities or maintenance preferred- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks- Good communication and teamwork skills- Knowledge of basic building maintenance and repair techniques- Valid driver's license and reliable transportationBenefits:- Competitive salary- Opportunities for advancement within the company
