We are looking for a motivated and skilled individual to become part of our esteemed team as a Facilities Maintenance Technician.
Role Responsibilities:
As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, your primary responsibility will be to maintain the premises and surrounding areas, performing a range of routine maintenance tasks and inspections, while ensuring that all facilities are operating effectively.
Your duties will include:
- Executing general maintenance tasks and basic repairs, covering electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and construction activities both indoors and outdoors.
- Assisting new residents in setting up their living spaces according to their preferences.
- Carrying out routine painting and decorating to uphold the aesthetic standards of the facility.
- Providing recommendations on the quality and supply of materials needed for maintenance tasks, ensuring timely procurement of replacement items.
- Offering emergency support outside of regular hours and participating in the on-call schedule.
Candidate Profile:
To excel in this role, you should embody our core values of compassion, support, integrity, respect, and accountability in all your actions.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of one year of experience in a maintenance or handyman position, or hold a relevant professional qualification in a trade.
- A valid driving license.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations, particularly regarding Moving and Handling techniques, Fire Safety, and COSHH assessments.
- The ability to adapt and respond flexibly to a variety of responsibilities as needed.
