Based in the London office, the Office Services & Copy Centre Assistant will work with Lawyers and Staff in the London office, other GD&C management and administrative staff, external contractors and suppliers.

Responsibilities include:

Working in the capacity of a firm representative. Reporting all relevant information and observations made whilst in the course of carrying out duties. Projecting a professional image of the firm both internally and externally. Providing copy centre and office services assistance to the Partnership and its staff in the London office. Assisting the Office Services Supervisor with copying, scanning and printing requirements from any of the GDC offices worldwide. Providing an internal collection and delivery service to the London office. Booking and arranging courier services for Lawyers and Staff. Collection of recycling and confidential waste from the copy centres and Lawyer offices. Ensuring that paper and supplies are provided in each of the copy centres and that the copying devices are fully operational and ready for use. Proactively report premises related issues to the FOSM. Meet and escort contractors around the office on an adhoc basis. Assist lawyers with adhoc tasks when required. Any other adhoc duties as required and directed by the FOSM, including occasional room moves.

Qualifications

Ability to work on own initiative as well as be part of a busy and fast paced team, also ability to think clearly and logically in an emergency and remain calm under pressure. Ability to undertake multiple tasks and prioritise accordingly. Excellent customer service levels. Strong communication skills; ability to communicate with people at all levels and good attention to detail essential. Presentable appearance. Flexibility with hours of work. Good interpersonal and team skills.

Experience

MS Office 365 – including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel.
