PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

To help with the growth of e-commerce through managing and maintaining the website and online sales platforms. Maximizing business profits through market analysis, customer acquisition, website administration, marketing and efficient customer service. 


ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

The duties are many and varied, but the list below is considered to be the basic requirement:

  • Uploading and building our website from existing basic platform.
  • Daily updates and maintenance of the website.
  • Processing sales made through online platforms.
  • Analytics and market pricing intel.
  • Customer service via email and telephone.
  • Help build and motivate the team as it grows.
  • Telesales & follow up calls when a basket is abandoned.
  • Customer acquisition and relationship building with clients nationwide.


KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED TO DO THE JOB:

  • Previous experience in a Sales environment.
  • Strong Product knowledge within the construction sector
  • Familiar with Shopify however this can be taught.
  • Google Merchant / Google Analytics.
  • Social Media interest and understanding
  • Be a good communicator with a high level of numeracy and attention to detail.
  • Be a good team player, with the ability to work autonomously when required.
  • Proficient in using systems.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to deal with a variety of clients from Builders to High End Architects
  • Excel knowledge (Microsoft) is a must.
