Senior Sales Executive
Location: Reigate, with hybrid working opportunities (minimum 3 days/week in office)

Travel: National and international travel required


Our client is an award-winning scale-up events business committed to delivering truly accessible, affordable, and sustainable events for the business community. Events from their portfolio are recognized as the Best Independent Trade Show Launch at the EN Indy Awards 2023. We are on a mission to launch several events across three to four markets over the next few years.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Sales person to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our growth journey from the beginning. With an entrepreneurial mindset, you will enjoy a generous bonus structure and the chance to build and expand our recently launched series of regional events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Revenue Generation: Achieve stand revenue targets through new and existing customer sales, and upselling/cross-selling sponsorship opportunities.
  • New Business Development: Win new business from inbound marketing qualified leads, competitor shows, and sourcing your own leads.
  • Client Retention: Ensure maximum client retention by achieving rebook targets onsite and delivering excellent customer service year-round. Maintain regular contact via face-to-face meetings, video calls, phone calls, and emails, acting as the primary point of contact for clients.
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate CRM records, including customer information, call notes, pipeline management, and forecasting.


Requirements

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Experience: Minimum 1 years experience in B2B events, ideally trade shows.
  • Target Driven: Proven ability to work to targets and achieve KPIs (50 calls/1.5 hours per day).
  • Environment: Thrives in a fast-paced, ambitious environment.
  • Travel: Ability to travel to competitor events both in the UK and internationally as required.
  • Customer Relations: Excellent customer relationship skills.
  • Commercial Mindset: Energy and enthusiasm to drive commercial success and implement identified initiatives.
  • CRM: Experience with HubSpot CRM is desirable.
