ShiftPattern: Average of 42hrs per week working 4 on 4 off(predominantly nightshift although day shifts may be required onoccasions to cover plannedholidays).

Whatyou ll bedoing

Underthe direction of the Monitoring Station Shift Supervisor your rolewill be to monitor the safety of premises and assets giving a fastand effective response to alarm activations or incidents.Implementing agreed client escalation procedures and carrying outrelevant duties within the MonitoringStation.

MonitoringStation Officer KeyResponsibilities

Monitoring CCTV and other alarm equipment asrequired.

Carrying out daily/monthly checks and inspections in line withBS5979.

To follow appropriate escalation protocols in relation to alarmactivations.

To effectively operate communication systems and computerised alarmmonitoringsystems.

Acting as a point of contact for the public emergency services andclients.

To demonstrate and maintain excellent customerservice.

To record any technical faults and take the appropriate steps tohave them rectified within agreedtimescales.

Adhering to all monitoring station policies andprocedures.

Skillsrequired a Monitoring StationOfficer:

Ability to effectively communicate with clients supervisors andpeers.

Ability to maintain a positive approach underpressure.

High levels of organisation and attention todetail.

Sound IT skills and familiarity with MicrosoftOffice.

Ability to work well as part of ateam.

To always maintain a standard of personal conduct and deportment inkeeping with the nature of thebusiness.
