Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Monitoring Officer to join our team at Prime Trading Group. As a Security Monitoring Officer, you will be responsible for monitoring CCTV and other alarm equipment, responding to alarm activations, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor CCTV and other alarm equipment to ensure the safety and security of our clients' premises and assets.
  • Respond to alarm activations in a timely and effective manner, following established protocols and procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients, responding to their queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Perform daily and monthly checks and inspections to ensure compliance with BS5979 standards.
  • Record and report any technical faults or issues, taking appropriate steps to rectify them within agreed timescales.
  • Adhere to all monitoring station policies and procedures, maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity.

Requirements

  • High levels of organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, supervisors, and peers.
  • Sound IT skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team, with a positive and proactive approach.
  • Valid CCTV license and a passion for security and safety.
