In support of our operations, we have a busy administration team delivering expert support to our sales, delivery, installation, training and service teams.

We are hiring an Administrator to provide reception duties and additional administration support to the team. The role requires an enthusiastic individual with very good interpersonal skills and with the aptitude to take on varied tasks. Attention to detail is a must.

The position will report directly to the Operations Administration Manager and is an office-based role at the Biosite head office in Solihull (West Midlands).

The successful candidate will be joining a friendly and supportive team. Training and career development will be provided to the right individual.

Main responsibilities and tasks

Reception responsibilities

Answering and screening incoming calls for the company Provide ad hoc front of house; welcoming guests including check in and making refreshments. Maintain tidiness and appearance of the Reception area

Office Administration responsibilities

Ensuring post is sent out and deliver incoming post internally. Receiving and co-ordinating deliveries Manage meeting space calendars, ensure all relevant preparations are completed ahead of stakeholder meetings. Preparation of meeting spaces, maintaining refreshment levels Manage hotel bookings for staff

Operations Administration responsibilities

Raising support tickets for internal and external stakeholders Raising Routine Maintenance Orders (CCTV) Checking engineer time sheets Providing data entry assistance for sales operations, install operations, service operations and training operations. General Team assistance and ad-hoc tasks to support the Administration Team Handling customer enquiries and correspondence via email and telephone.

Person Profile: Essential qualifications, experience, knowledge and behaviours

Administrative and data entry experience. Reception or customer service experience with inbound call handling Competent IT (Word, Excel and Outlook) Keen attention to detail and accuracy. Enthusiastic, team player with a can-do attitude Motivation and ability to learn tasks quickly and work as part of a team. Good communication and relationship skills. Good organization skills to meet daily and weekly deadlines. Ability to handle change in a fast-paced environment.
