Bristol Vet Specialists is a state-of-the-art veterinary hospital located in Avonmouth which offers a broad range of Specialist veterinary referral services including internal medicine, oncology, soft tissue surgery, neurology and neurosurgery, orthopaedics, anaesthesia, diagnostic imaging, dermatology and ophthalmology. The hospital has superb in-house facilities and is the only hospital in the South West to have radiotherapy facilities - .

We are looking for an experienced full-time therapeutic radiographer (equivalent NHS Band 6/7) to work within our oncology team and operate our Elekta Infinity linear accelerator.

Aside from ensuring accurate planning and safe delivery of radiotherapy treatments, as prescribed, to our veterinary patients, the successful candidate will also be required to take on some radioprotection responsibilities within the team and be involved in the development of the radiotherapy services at BVS. 

The ideal candidate must be experienced, familiar with the Elekta system. A keen interest in working with animals is deemed essential. The candidate must enjoy working efficiently within a multi-disciplinary team with excellent communication and organisational skills.

We offer a competitive salary of up to £50K DOE, 5 weeks annual leave (+ Bank Holidays), the option to buy or sell up to an additional two weeks leave, receive an extra days leave each year up to 5 years within the business, company pension, sharesave scheme, and many other benefits.
