The Model Success team at Moody’s exists to ensure that our clients get great value from their investments in the Moody’s RMS catastrophe models and data.

The role:

In the role, you will:

Drive the success of varied and interesting customer requests relating to the full range of Moody’s RMS models and products From quickfire problem solving, to delivering training, to more extensive analysis/interpretation Act as the first point of contact for incoming requests, communicating directly with our customers Closely partner with experienced colleagues to deepen your technical understanding to enhance customer outcomes Ensure customers receive accurate, complete, and fit for purpose information

You will also receive fantastic opportunities to:

Continuously improve your skills and knowledge of the catastrophe models and products that are at the forefront of our industry (from the science behind them, to getting the most out of their input/output). Work closely with a wide variety of customers and colleagues across the globe and in-person. Use your experience of working with our customers to improve our suite of self-serve materials online.

As you develop skills within the role and progress in your career within the team, you will have the opportunity to attain more specialised knowledge in a subset of topic areas and also take on more responsibility in the following areas:

Resolving more complex client requests, which may involve: Working directly with Subject Matter Experts in other teams Handling more sensitive client communications Leading training sessions with minimal preparation Guiding junior team members in their role and development Driving the success of work that involves multiple contributors Training and developing new talent (graduates)

Required Qualifications:

BS or MS degree in any of the following disciplines or related fields: Mathematics, engineering, physics, statistics, economics Earth or climate sciences (including geology, geophysics, seismology, meteorology) Risk management, insurance Fluency in spoken and written English Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) Ability to travel internationally (infrequently, as needed)
