Disaster Modeling Analyst

We are seeking a talented Disaster Modelling Analyst to join our team. As a Disaster Modelling Analyst, you will undertake sensitivity testing to understand the impact of data quality, assumptions, and planned portfolio changes on our clients' risk assessments.
This role involves working closely with our brokers, academic partners, and model evaluation specialists to develop and refine catastrophe models that provide accurate views of risk for our clients. You will also collaborate with industry partners to create innovative solutions for the reinsurance market and liaise with other teams worldwide.
You will be responsible for working in accordance with our Risk Management Framework and complying with our policies, including completing mandatory training to manage risks that may affect our business or reputation.
The ideal candidate has experience in an analytical team within a broking house, with a commercial/client focus. You should possess strong project management skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to present to a wide audience. Proficiency in multi-relational database management systems and coding (SQL, R) is essential, with experience in dashboard analytics and GIS also highly beneficial.
The salary for this role is £55,000-£75,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package and 25 days' holiday.
