Role Overview:
The Group IT Purchasing Manager will define, develop and manage the Group IT purchasing team and processes, supporting the wider group of three, global sector-leading businesses (Steam Thermal Solutions, Watson Marlow Fluid Technology Solutions and Electric Thermal Solutions).

Negotiating pricing, contracts, service level agreements and terms with key suppliers Completing pricing analysis and benchmarking activities to ensure value for money Managing a portfolio of suppliers with the aim of reducing supplier costs to support business operations Obtaining quotes from preferred suppliers within agreed SLA’s and creating purchase orders, arranging deliveries and receipt orders when required Tracking key supplier contracts and renewals, in collaboration with the Group IT Procurement Manager Providing a point of service escalation within the Group IT team for all software and hardware enquiries Supplier review meetings, ensuring supplier goals and objectives are met and ensure supplier information is accurate and updated Monitoring supplier performance and producing monthly supplier performance statistics Reviewing the global IT supplier base to drive consolidation and economies of scale where possible Monitoring worldwide changes that affect supply and demand, tracking market conditions that impact price trends and delivery constraintsYour previous experience is likely to include….
